Back to painting....

Oh my. It's been awhile, hasn't it? I always do that. I get involved in something for awhile, and then I forget about it for even longer before coming back.

Thanks to my friend, I have a chance to sell some of my light plates. She makes beautiful jewelry and is selling her stuff at various arts and crafts shows in texas. She has offered to sell my stuff too! So I gave her the plates I still hadn't sold yet, and then created some new ones (below). We'll see how this goes!

Finally finished my Kindle Case

It took almost a year. They've even come out with a new kindle since I started. But now its done and I'm pretty darn proud. I had to sew a bunch of squares together (commonly called quilting but since I've never quilted before i can't say that's what I actually did) and then I had to sew a lining to that and then put it all together. Luckly I had instructions. Here's my finished project!

New plates

I apparently haven't made any new plates since April. I had meant to take a short break from it but man, how time flies! My bestie Andrea asked me to do some plates for her bedroom so this is what she ended with.

I used art pens instead of paint for the intricate work and it turned out way better. Im thinking of doing some for my apartment now. I have a shoddy camera so Im sorry about the crappy photo. If I happen to do anything artistic soon i'll make sure and post it. I bought paint and canvases this weekend so hopefully I will figure out what to do with them.

Two more to add...

These are what I did on Saturday. I feel lazy because I honestly had time to do more but I just slept and bummed out instead. Im selling all of these Sunday at an event I'm face painting at and Im hoping to get some orders as well so....wish me luck!

Got a new camera!

Ok I havent really worked on much in the past month or so but here are some pics of what I have done. I will be face painting for an army picnic in a few weeks and I am also going to be selling my light plates there so right now im just trying to paint a bunch so I have a lot to sell that day. I'll post the pictures as I finish them. I have a new camera and so hopefully you'll be able to see more from me! Have a good week!

Amazing!

I guess all I had to do was complain about everything because right after my last blog, i plugged in my camera, and it worked! So now I can finally update my blog. =)

So valentines is one week away and my husband's bday is 6 days away. I bought him a gift for his bday but im making him his vday present. I would LOVE to be able to post a pic of it when i'm done but technology hates me right now. I found my camera cord but my USB port is malfunctioning and won't reconize the camera. I've tried using my cell phone but the pictures look horrible and fuzzy. I have so much i want to put on my blog but it looks like it's just not meant to be at this moment. I'll keep messing with stuff and maybe something will come together for me. I hope everyone is having a great week and happy early vday!
