This is a painting that I was super happy to make. The man I painted in the white shirt died unexpectantly at a young age. His mother's biggest regret was that they had never had a family photo of them all before he died. I took a photo of them that they had taken after his death and painted him into the picture. She died a year after she got the painting but at least she finally had a complete family photo =)
It's a beautiful painting with amazing detail, and an even more beautiful sentiment. Very heartwarming, if a bit sad... thanks for sharing.
